Immediately after YB Hannah Yeoh handed over the Jalur Gemilang to the Malaysian Jump Rope team on 23rd July 2025 at Dewan Seri Putra, Bukit Jalil in conjunction with the 2025 National Open Jump Rope Competition, the mission to hunt for medals at the 2025 World Jump Rope Championship in Kawasaki, Japan began.
With full commitment, 6 athletes, a head contingent , 2 coaches and a medical officer have worked tirelessly to achieve success in this championship.

As a result of the federation’s discussions and best strategies in selecting athletes and the results of regular training, the Malaysian Jump Rope Federation successfully brought home 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in this prestigious competition.

The Malaysia Jump Rope Federation would like to thank YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports of Malaysia, Officers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia, Ministry of Education, the National Sports Institute, the National Sports Council, the MYJuRF Committee members, teachers, athletes and parents who have supported the sport of jumping rope since 2000.
The Malaysian Jump Rope Federation hopes that jump rope will continue to be a sport that is loved and supported by all levels of society to improve the health and fitness levels of children, adolescents and youth starting from an early age.
Hopefully, with this victory and success, MYJuRF will continue to progress in producing international jump rope athletes who can make Malaysia proud in the eyes of the world.
