Towards our healthty living at an early stage.

The Malaysia Jump Rope Federation, also known as MYJuRF, was established on 6 June 2003. MYJuRF is a voluntary sports organization (NGO) that frequently supports ministries, government departments, agencies, and private sectors in nurturing a healthy and active generation through the sport of jump rope.

Throughout the years, the association has many successful events and programmes involving government agencies, NGOs and the private sectors, whether in the country or abroad.

Our Jump Rope programmes aims to encourage people, especially children, youth and adults to improve their health, especially in preventing heart disease from an early stage.

MYJuRF's Objective

1. To implement the basic concept of “Sports for All” and “Malaysia Fit” through the activities of this federation.

2. To encourage, promote and coordinate all form of Jump Rope activities in the state and country.

3. To manage, co-ordinate and take part in all form of activity or activities at the national level of Jump Rope activities.

4. Fostering values in terms of spiritual, physical and moral boost and associations among members.

5. To create the spirit of friendship, understanding and unity among members regardless of race, religion and descent through the jump rope activities.

6. To ensure that the selection procedure for athletes, officials, coaches and any other persons to represent the country in the jump rope championships is open and fair.

7. Carrying out activities without discrimination on gender, color, religion, origin – origin, language, political or any other opinion held by members.

Mission

The objective of this federation is to raise awareness among the community, especially children, teenagers, and youth, about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart through the sport of jump rope.

Programmes Objective

1. To introduce and promote Jump Rope for Heart Health programmes to the public, especially children and teenagers as one of the main alternative workout for health.

2. To create a society that cares for the health care.

3. To provide guidance and encouragement to people about heart health education that can be prevented at an early stage.

4. To introduce jump rope skills to children and teenagers in order to have better coordination and healthy lifestyle.
